What We Offer
At Home Grown Learning we offer a theme based program covering the Australian Curriculum meeting your requirements as a homeschooler.
Currently we are offering small group sessions - up to 12 children
Tuesdays and Thursday for students aged 6+
Please note: These are guidelines and personal requirements and arrangements can be discussed.
We also offer private tutoring and hire of music equipment - piano, electric guitar, drums, trumpet. Please enquire for further information.
What You Can Expect
Mornings
Our morning experiences will focus on student socialisation before commencing our core subject learning of English, Hass and Science through a theme and will be targeted at their ability level. Our maths learning will predominately be online using the Maths Online program. Our morning will also consist of morning tea, a run around and maybe a game of table tennis or two!
Afternoons
After lunch we will focus on sport, language, art and technology. We have the ability to bring in specialist teachers if required to lend their expertise. We will decide the best approach depending on the unit and discuss at our community information mornings.
Zoom Sessions
Small group sessions of 6 children for 45 minutes. Children will be given theme learning tasks covering the curriculum to be reviewed in sessions and new tasks set. Zoom sessions will be set weekly at convenient times agreed upon.
Individual sessions of 40 minutes will be targeted learning for up to two learning areas that have been identified.
International students will be accommodated for with our time difference.
